GROUP 2 CIPP Group 2 CIPP comprises the installation of a Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner inside an existing sanitary sewer pipe, digging any necessary point repairs in preparation for CIPP, and rehabilitating/replacing manholes connected to segments being repaired with CIPP. CIPP is a trenchless rehabilitation method used to avoid prolonged disruption to the surroundings, and a typical line segment can be repaired in one to two days. GROUP 2 RELAY Group 2 Relay comprises a contractor excavating and replacing an existing sewer line from manhole to manhole. This repair method is used when trenchless rehabilitation is not feasible and generally takes between 2 to 3 weeks to complete a segment. Crews work with surrounding neighbors to ensure the work is as minimally disruptive as reasonably possible.
